APAR SV-36 uses Hydrofluorocarbon-236fa (HFC-236fa) media which is a standard replacement for Halon 1211. This media is very environmentally friendly, safe for humans, assets and is the right choice for the environment based on the US EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association). SV-36 media is non-conductive, non-corrosive, residue-free and has a zero ozone depleting level (ODP = 0).
